About Paradise Kidz Place
Paradise Kidz Place is a DHS 3-Star-rated early childhood education center located in Memphis, Tennessee, serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. We proudly specialize in providing high-quality care designed to support every stage of your child’s growth using the Creative Curriculum® — a nationally recognized framework that nurtures the whole child through hands-on exploration and purposeful play.
Since opening in 2018, we’ve warmly welcomed hundreds of Memphis families, providing safe, affordable childcare that feels like a second home. Our caring, experienced teachers are CPR and First Aid certified, and we accept all DHS vouchers so every child can access high-quality care and meaningful learning opportunities.
Paradise Kidz Place was founded by Dr. Irma Davis, a deeply committed educator, entrepreneur, and mother with more than 25 years of experience in early childhood development.
With degrees in Christian Education, Theology, and Early Childhood Education, Dr. Davis has opened multiple successful childcare centers in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama. In 2018, she returned to her hometown of Memphis to launch Paradise Kidz Place, with a mission to serve her community and empower families through high-quality, compassionate childcare.
Dr. Davis's leadership and faith-based values guide every aspect of our program, from our nurturing environment to our commitment to community involvement. Whether it's organizing seasonal camps, hosting visits from local heroes like fire and police departments, or supporting parents with free resources, Paradise Kidz Place is more than just a daycare - it's a family-focused center rooted in love and service.

Meet our founder
DR. IRMA DAVIS
FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Dr. Irma Davis is a passionate educator, a devoted woman of faith, a mother, a grandmother, and a community leader. With degrees in Christian Education, Theology, and Early Childhood Education - and over 25 years of hands-on experience - she has made it her life’s mission to nurture young minds and uplift families.
Dr. Davis began her journey in early education by establishing childcare centers in Mobile, AL, and Holly Springs, MS, before returning home to Memphis to launch Paradise Kidz Place in 2018. Her vision was to create a safe, joyful, and academically grounded center where children could receive not just care, but compassion, structure, and love.
Her deep belief in faith, family, and education continues to shape the heart and soul of Paradise Kidz Place today.
ABOUT OUR CENTER
Designed with busy families and growing little ones in mind, our center offers a convenient, welcoming place to learn and grow. Inside, children enjoy a clean, colorful, and secure environment filled with opportunities to play, discover, build friendships, and thrive.

Designed for babies aged 6 weeks to 12 months, this peaceful space offers gentle care, tummy time, soft music, and age-appropriate developmental activities. Our caregivers support early bonding and communication in a warm, loving environment.

This lively space supports little explorers as they learn language, coordination, and independence. Through play-based learning and interactive games, toddlers begin to develop essential social and self-help skills.

A thoughtfully structured classroom that blends fun with foundational academics. Children learn early math and literacy, emotional regulation, and classroom routines to prepare them for Kindergarten and beyond.

Our secure outdoor area offers space for climbing, running, and nature play. Children enjoy daily outdoor time that fosters gross motor development, sensory experiences, and a love of the natural world.
